San Diego Cities Among Top US Housing Markets, Says

Several California towns are seeing fast-moving supply and rising demand in the housing market, according to Nineteen towns in the Golden State made the site’s list of “hottest real estate markets” for 2024, including two in San Diego County.’s rankings are based on unique insights into buyer activity and comprehensive data on active inventory. The analysis considers listing views as an indicator of demand and median days on the market as an indicator of supply. Among the top 300 cities, San Diego-Carlsbad metro ranked 64th and another San Diego area made the list.
